This marks the start of the bustling harvest season, which typically runs from October until late November. During this window of time, the olives reach their optimal temperature for pressing in a state-of-the-art, professional olive mill. Using this advanced equipment, the olives are expertly ground into a smooth paste. The resulting paste is then carefully pressed to extract the precious olive oil, which is then meticulously filtered and stored. By utilizing modern machinery, the olives are squeezed with precision and care, ensuring that the resulting olive oil consistently meets the high standards of today’s industry.

During an olive oil tasting, we focus on three key characteristics: its distinct aroma, the level of bitterness, and the degree of spiciness.
Here is the procedure:
- Add olive oil to the special tasting glass.
- We hold the glass in our hands and stir to slightly heat the olive oil.
- We smell trying to identify each of its aromas.
- We drink a sip to perceive the intensity of its bitter & spicy taste.
Simple olive oil tasting: Indulge in our delicious olive oil tasting experience, where each guest is treated to an individual plate filled with a variety of fresh bread, bruschetta topped with flavorful Kalamon olive paste, and a mini salad bursting with seasonal vegetables and pitted Kalamon olives. Savor the taste of our two award-winning extra virgin olive oils, along with the delightful olive paste and pitted Kalamon olives. Be awed by the roots of Christianity as we delve into the establishment of both a church in Corinth and one in the ancient city of Kechreai by the legendary St Paul.
After spending two years in Corinth, Apostle Paul said his goodbyes to the bustling city and continued on his journey to Ephesus (Acts 18:18). Despite leaving, Paul’s words left a lasting impression on the city, giving rise to a flourishing church in Corinth. However, this church faced its own set of obstacles due to the influences of the culture around it. In an attempt to confront these challenges, Paul poured all of his passion and emotion into writing multiple letters to the Corinthians.
